POTASSIUM ALUM

POTASSIUM ALUM (potassium aluminium sulphate or Aluminium potassium bis(sulphate) dodecahydrate) is produced by using raw materials “Made in Germany”. Two different qualities are available:
The pharmaceutical grade is used for a wide range of applications in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries based on its astringent and styptic effects.
The technical grade of POTASSIUM ALUM is used, for example, as a technical coagulation agent in latex processing, as an additive for tanning leather or as a mordant in dyeing.
Both qualities of POTASSIUM ALUM offered by OKER-CHEMIE are “Made in Germany” and are produced in the standard grain size of 0-2 mm, pourable, and shipped in polyethylene bags of 25 kg each.
